Both RUSH and PETER GABRIEL have slapped Limbaugh with "cease and desist" orders for using their music without permission and do not want to be in any way associated with the disgusting misogynist.

Coulter reminisced about Breitbart’s early days working with Matt Drudge, creator of the groundbreaking and influential Drudge Report. Breitbart would cover the times when Matt was asleep or flying, a time in his life that Andrew himself jokingly referred to as “being Drudge’s Bitch.”

Coulter also took time to comment on how his passing will affect the conservative movement.

“Who knows what else he could have done,” she told TheDC. “It’s like John Lennon dying, what other music might he have produced.”

Republicans are actually lionizing him.

People made fun of the Monkees but they were TOTALLY IN ON THE JOKE!!

“Ditty Diego – War Chant,” a spoken word piece written by Jack Nicholson and recited in unison by all four members of the band over circus music, offers the movie’s thesis in typically blunt Nicholson/Monkees fashion:

Hey, hey, we are The Monkees

You know we love to please,

A manufactured image

With no philosophies.

To that we all agree.

It took me awhile to find a reference to this, which I had memorized at one time.  

Head (1968) - a bright wall in a dark room.

You will see Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper also make an appearance in "Head," which was the strange movie which starred the Monkees, in affiliation with Frank Zappa, of all people.  The original Monkees television show was in the '70s and Nickleodeon has a 2nd Monkees show (with 3 Monkees) in the '80s.

Peter Tork, in particular, was no simpleton.

It will be surprising to some (but not to me) that Jerry Garcia recognized the talent of the Monkees.
