Sarah Palin 'believed Queen was in charge of British forces in Iraq' - Telegraph
She informed a debate coach that if Britain waved in support for the Iraq war that she would then have a dialogue with the Queen. This horrified McCain's staff. This tidbit is included in a new book about SP.

I read this:
"A horrified Mr Schmidt informed her that that the prime minister, then Gordon Brown, would be responsible for the decision."
And I call BULLSHIT.
If Schmidt was so 'horrified' and wanted to 'Put Country First' then he would have QUIT THE CAMPAIGN and/or had Sister Sarah dropped from the ticket.
He did neither.
