Did Urban Outfitters Submit To Pro-Life Demands?
Urban Outfitters targets 20-30 somethings and they were to sell Proper Attire condoms on their website and some of the proceeds would go to Planned Parenthood. The condoms were also marketed mostly toward women. There was also information about how to properly use the condoms and the slogan read "Proper Attire: Insist on a dress code. It’s required for entry." Before long, STOP Planned Parenthood emailed their base and their efforts went viral enough among conservatives that Urban pulled the ads.
Governor Pawlenty of Minnesota just turned down more than $800,000 in federal sex education funds. Instead, he opted for $500,000 in abstinence-only funds that require $380,000 in MInnesota taxpayer funds to implement. The other program did not require any state funds. This was a compromise federal bill that allowed the abstinence training to please Republicans. Now we get screwed by having to pay for this program that doesn't work and later for its failures in higher health care bills, food stamps and welfare payments for single mothers and their children.

Good luck - when I lived there people didn't bother to abstain.
