That's so ironic, since she meddled with the Wasila library.  Publication was moved up to capitalize on the "holiday book buying season."  Her first run is just as big as for "True Compass," by Ted Kennedy.  She has turned in her manuscript for checking for grammar and accuracy.  "Girls Gone Rogue" must be something like "Girls Gone Wild."

He has shown up at Phyllis Schlafly's conservative conference.  She's still alive?!!  Will have to find a current picture of her.  She must be a wrinkled old prune by now.  I am reading on one blog now that apparently she is a lifelong celibate.  I guess the conference is the conservative's "Take Back America" movement now (they are copying the Dean supporters of 2003.)

Silvio Berlusconi calls Barack Obama tanned - again - Telegraph -- What a dick.  He already did this before and was criticized for it.  He also makes pronouncements about morality but consorts with minors and prostitutes. Michelle Obama did not kiss him on the cheek and neither would I.

"I bring you greeting from a person who is called ...a person who is sun-tanned...Barack Obama," Berlusconi told a crowd in Milan on Sunday.  "You wouldn't believe it, but they go sunbathing at the beach together - his wife is also sun-tanned."

This is desperation. We are #37 for health care. My sister-in-law has to walk on a huge swollen knee and can hardly work. My brother had to pay a huge amount for three months of health care for his family so she can possibly get it taken care of. My son's girlfriend has no health care and for a long time, neither did he. We are middle class and employed but should we be laid off (my husband and/or I), we would no longer be covered.  We will not be old enough for Medicare for quite awhile and are not even sure it will be around.  Where else in the developed (or less developed) world is this the case? And any time there is any kind of plan to help remedy this, wingnuts scream "Socialism!"  They are glad to pay taxes for the wars that break us, but not a cent for health care.  They don't even want the richest people to pay.  At the same time they go on about being "pro-life" - what a joke.

& this morning I see there is a "Should Obama Be Killed" poll on Facebook and a competing one trying to get Facebook to take it off & someone to look into arresting the perpetrator - the hate never stops.  Bill Clinton said on a Sunday chat show yesterday that the "vast rightwing conspiracy" is alive and well and now targeting Obama.

My friend wrote: THIS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE FBI. THIS POLL IS A HATE CRIME.
