Palin is headed to Hong Kong for purposes of… saying things… to investors of the brokerage firm CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets:

Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Alan Greenspan have spoken at the event, hosted by brokerage and investment group CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets...It will be closed to the media, and the topic has not yet been confirmed. Palin was criticized during last year's presidential election for her lack of experience in international affairs. She received her first passport in 2007 to visit Alaska National Guard members serving in Kuwait and Germany.

Interesting that Palin is headed for level-headed Hong Kong, rather than to Seoul where the Republican colonial government is sure to roll out the red carpet (though there is no guarantee that she won't be pelted with rotten eggs by a "Communist sympathizer" as she arrives in downtown Seoul).
