He's from right around Mission, where Slugbug's husband hails from, & he's rich now! This story has been covered by Chet Brokaw, who must be related to South Dakotan Tom Brokaw, from my Alma Mater (Univ. of SD.) Todd County is one of the poorest places in the country. The family has sold scrap metal, owed back taxes and didn't own a phone.

Seems like a good kid, and bright too. I reckon he will see his family and friends OK. Then go hog wild for a bit. But ultimately he'll remember where he's from and will turn out just fine.
