When I was a kid, there were twins - and triplets - occasionally. I don't know if I ever saw any triplets. Before I was born, there were the Dionne quintuplets. They set a record. Then it began to sneak up to septuplets, and finally octuplets. Litters are natural in species like mice, but not in humans. So it's unnatural to have an abortion and you're playing God, even in cases of rape? or to practice euthanasia when the person actually wants to die and has a horrible illness and is declining? but it's natural to use fertility drugs and have litters? or to do extensive things to keep very small or sick people alive at a huge cost?
I wish people would make up their mind one way or the other or just admit that they practice relative ethics in the first place but some are more hypocritical than others. I mean - what is wrong with free will and making individual ethical decisions? & what if they differ from the decision someone else would make? Also it depends how much money you have & how much you can attract. That's why some young woman is trying to sell her virginity for a huge sum.
I didn't even get into whether using massive amounts of electricity is natural (think Las Vegas) and now irreversible global warming. Or which gods may or may not have intended that people use drones, daisy cutters, cluster bombs etc. Oh and cosmetic surgery which is elective, such as when you aren't a burn victim or disfigured in accident or war. Or surgery for losing weight rather than exercise & dieting (themselves pretty unnatural) - liposuction, gastric bands.
The Amish are more consistent - they don't even use buttons. The Pope shouldn't use the internet if he wants to truly practice tradition. & why do some fundies who believe the earth is only 5000 years old and that man walked with dinosaurs rely on treatments when they get sick which involve cells mutating, which means the cells are .. evolving? If there is a God in charge of all this, that entity has to be way above the ones people are currently worshipping. (slugbug)
UPDATE - She (the human pig) is unmarried and was taking fertility drugs - lives at home - father is a contractor in Iraq - makes big bucks. Why would fertility specialists allow the implanting of that many embryos? I swear people should have to have a license before they have children!
She has created SarahPAC, she says, to allow her to travel without being accused of using Alaska state money. It merely has her picture, a short bio, and a "Donate" button.
