This isn't as clear as the "conservative" one, as I photographed it and the other one was scanned. I may try again if I get time but it's already on the wall. Maybe I should photograph the entire wall.

You left out John Kerry! What's happened to you?!? :)

You're right! "Kerry is Scary" - I remember seeing those signs! I need to make him in a Swift Boat and I guess he can be windsurfing in the MeKong Delta is something. While reciting Shakespeare and eating cheese that isn't Velveeta.

Fear Behind America's Love of Guns
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/466/story.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10434741
Editorial and followed by many comments, and lots of them are from defensive Americans who don't think people in other parts of the world have the right to comment on the Virginia shooting tragedy, or that they don't have the right to link it to our behavior in Iraq. Arming everyone won't decrease paranoia.
There's somethin' happenin' here.
What it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there
A-tellin' me I've got to beware.
I think it's time we stop.
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin' down.
There's battle lines bein' drawn.
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong.
Young people speakin' their minds
A-gettin' so much resistance from behind.
I think it's time we stop.
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin' down.
What a field day for the heat.
A thousand people in the street
Singin' songs and a-carryin' signs
Mostly sayin' hooray for our side.
It's time we stop.
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin' down.
Paranoia strikes deep.
Into your life it will creep.
It starts when you're always afraid.
Step out of line, the men come and take you away.
You better stop.
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin'..
You better stop.
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin'..
You better stop.
Now, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin'..
You better stop.
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin'..
(For What It's Worth .. Buffalo Springfield)
Love is but a song we sing
fears' the way we die
You can make the mountains ring
or make the angels cry
Though the dove is on the wing
and you may not know why
*Come on people now
smile on your brother
everybody get together
and try to love one another right now
Some may come and some may go
He will surely pass
When the one that left us here
returns for us at last
We are but a moment's sunlight
fading in the grass
*Come on people now
smile on your brother
everybody get together
try to love one another right now
If you hear the song I sing
you will understand...listen
You hold the key to love and fear
all in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both
Its there at your command
*Come on people now
smile on your brother
Everybody get together
try to love one another right now
(Get Together, The Youngbloods)
