Bush visited Minneapolis today to raise more than 1 million dollars for Rep. Mark Kennedy, a republican U.S. senate candidate. Roughly 500 persons protested in front of the Hilton Hotel, the site of the fundraiser. Temperatures were in the teens. Here are some photos from that event. My photos are selective; the goal wasn't to document the crowd but rather to capture scenes that make political statements.

Everyone I've shown the photos likes them alot. One woman from ND wants to drive to Mpls to help protest next time.

Great photos, to bad it such a sad day in the United States. If we're lucky, the end will come sooner than Bush was planning on.
