Tickets to attend the February 4-6 "private event" can be purchased for $549. The steep price tag does not include hotel lodging, which starts at $436.99 for a three-night package. The Washington Independent reported that just 160 of the hotel's 2,881 rooms were still available as of Wednesday morning.

Palin neither confirmed nor denied a 2012 Presidential run with Glenn Beck - "We'll see," she giggled.

Follow the money.  Hmmm.  "Draft Dick Cheney 2012" - they have a new Web site.  They say "There is only one person in our party with the experience, political courage and unwavering commitment to the values that made our party strong – and that person is Dick Cheney."

At a recent fundraiser, Kay Bailey Hutchison yelled out to the crowd "Cheney 2012!" and some one in the audience quickly responded "We need you, Dick!"  Cheney's response: "Not a chance."

The group plans a Facebook and Twitter network and are building key grassroots chapters in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Now right-wingers are up in vociferously-defended arms because Best Buy's vast and stuff-packed Thanksgiving flyer included a little-bitty ad wishing Muslims "Happy Eid al-Adha," a holiday that 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide mark by giving to charity. Dear hate-and-fear-filled, so-called Christian folks: It's the season of understanding, even among those of us who are not you. Try, please.

The Graham-Palin Connection

After reading Max Blumenthal's "Republican Gomorrah," hypocritic crap like this is no surprise.  Palin pretends to be a populist in the family car but is being flown around by the org of Billy Graham's reformed cokehead son, but tried to hide it.  No wonder Sarah had dinner with Billy Graham the other night, and Franklin (the son) has been hanging around Alaska.  The corporate jet lands near the booksigning event in question and Palin hops the bus in to her event.  Now the theocrat is coming to WA.

Police in Ozarks Taze Ten Year Old Girl

Thanks Joe Cooley in Oklahoma for your vigilance.  Thinking alot about the police state as we near the 10th anniversary of the WTO in Seattle.

Ok - a mother called the police for help in dealing with her unruly ten year old child.  They came and tazed her.  "I would like to say Ozark police Tased this little girl right here.  Ten years old and (they) shot electricity through her body, and I want to know how the heck in God's green earth can they get away with this.  If you can't pick the kid up and take her to your car, handcuff her, then I don't think you need to be an officer."

According to the story, the girl has "emotional issues" and kicked the police officer in the groin.  He in turn talks about why Tazing her was desirable to restraining her.  All around, it's a sad story.
