Is Michele Bachmann Really a Tax Lawyer?

We had wondered whether she ever passed the bar exam.  Now a Daily Kos reader takes on the issue.

She apparently claimed to study Tax Law (LL.M) at William and Mary University but the article claims they do not offer such a thing and their only LL.M program is for foreign students.

.. So I read the comments and some readers did call the Law School.  The person answering said there was no such program.  Others Googled around and found others who claimed to have the LLM from W &M and they were Bachmann's era (86-88 or so) and the W&M website did claim her as an alumnus.  The program could have closed.

That said, she originally attended Oral Roberts University and I believe her husband is from Regents.  It is no wonder they turned out the way they did.  On top of that, Bachmann was a tax attorney but now is supported by the Tea Party, who hate taxes.  More crazy.  One thing is sure - is she had her way, law including tax law would be "Biblical."  She is right out of Margaret Atwood's "Handmaid's Tale," along with Palin.
