Playing catch up with the Canadians and the Dutch .. Portland is a good location for it.  It's actually for certified medical marijuana users.  It's in the former location of Rumpspankers, an adult erotic club.  It holds 100 people, who are served by "budtenders."  It closes at 10 PM and serves food but not liquor. There are 21,000 medical marijuana patients in Oregon.  It's used for Alzheimers, diabetes, MS, Tourette's and certain other afflictions.   holding marijuana-themed weddings, film festivals and dances in the second-floor ballroom.  The owner plans a Cannabis College as well as marijuana-themed weddings and other events.  Oregon is one of about a dozen states that allows medical marijuana and this cafe is the most similar in the US to the "coffee shops" iin Amsterdam, where small amounts are legal.  Growing, possessing, distributing and smoking the weed are still illegal in US.
