The first little guy, Alex, was just above the 99th percentile and completely breastfed. He was denied insurance on the basis of "obesity" but the insurance company eventually had to reconsider and cover him.
The other little baby, Aislin, was too thin and was also denied insurance coverage. She is 22 pounds at two years. (My own son was 24 pounds at two years.)
Both babies live in Colorado and both articles appeared within about a week of each other. Only in America.
