Friends of FOX News Chief Ailes Want Him to Run for President in 2012

Politico reported that friends of Fox chief Ailes were encouraging him to run for president in 2012 but he said he would decline.  It would be better if he did, as he has been a consultant to Nixon and Reagan, and with Lee Atwater, helped Bush I defeat Dukakis.  Ailes was part of the plot to portray Dukakis as "soft on crime" by connecting him with felon Willie Horton.  FOX has been contemptuous of the Obama administration all year, rather than providing news.  They have encouraged tea parties and town hall meeting disruptions as well as Glenn Beck's 9-12 project to march on Washington DC.  FOX is best known for deception and propagation of Republican talking points.  They have been on a witch hunt against Obama "czars" and are connected with projects which raise money for Republican candidates and projects.
