I was about to leave work and showed this to my cat fancier co-worker.
She jumped on it - agreed to meet me at my house and we'd ride over. I'd already seen Cooper's work in the newspaper, but it put me in the mind of a cat - peeking and peering - hiding but seeing what no one else saw, adoring my masters or seeking privacy and secrets. He really is quite a good photographer! He has thousands of fans on-line now and was part of a cat photographer show in London that his owners didn't even know about til after it happened.
The art coop was an amazing space wherein we found not only the cat photography (which was being purred and pawed over) but mind-bending turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau-type furniture, a log cabin and the most lavish Tiki bar other than something I saw at the Gauguin retrospective in Paris.
We followed up with Turkish food and bellydancing. My friend is a 25 year Middle Eastern dancer so danced with the dancer for awhile.
