Keith Ellison, my congressman (MN-5), showed up at the start of the Halloween Critical Mass bike ride in Minneapolis. He rode his bus to the site (Loring Park) and brought some of his campaign workers who registered voters.
Congressman Ellison mixed with the crowd sharing small talk and his priorities for legislation. I heard him promoting education, alternative energy and bike paths.

His campaign bus was playing "Respect" by Aretha Franklin from it's sound system. One campaign worker with a microphone said "Critical mass - this election is critical." Don't you wish your congressman was this progressive?
That lens makes for interesting angles - kind of takes psychological perception into account!

Bet Ellison would be nowhere to be seen if the cops attacked critical mass again... just like he was nowhere to be seen the first time!
