It's been said that height predicts the Presidency quite reliably. Gore and Kerry were both significantly taller than Bush but there is convincing evidence those elections were stolen, so Bush being in office does not disprove the theory that height is a predictor.
Wikipedia has a table with comparative heights of all the presidents, past and present.
"The tallest candidate almost always wins" is how the theory goes.
In reality, for the 46 elections in which the height of which both candidates is known, the taller candidate won 25 times (approximately 54 percent of the time), the shorter candidate won 18 times (approximately 39 percent of the time) and the candidates were the same height three times (about 7 percent of the time). Therefore, the taller candidate has won the majority of elections.
In three of the cases where the shorter candidate won, the taller candidate actually received more popular votes but lost in the Electoral College. (One of these was Al Gore.)
