Six US Soldiers die on Easter
Six US soldiers died in Iraq on Easter, one of the most sacred of holidays for Christians. President Bush prayed for the families of the soldiers and thanked them for their sacrifice, but life goes on.
Meanwhile, back on the home front:
Americans support their troops.
They know that God is on their side. The sign on the house says "God bless America"!

That is great! I love all the seasonal commercialized crap around this holiday. It's the holiday symbolizing breeding, isn't it? Screwing like rabbits, hatching eggs, rebirth and all the rest.
When I was a kid I didn't quite get Christmas or Easter because I wasn't able to separate the Christian vs Pagan elements out in my mind. I mean, I couldn't figure out what Santa had to do with Baby Jesus or what the Easter Bunny had to do with the Resurrection of Christ.
The photos remind me of the big lavendar inflatable rabbit we got one year with an orange inflatable carrot. We always got those cheap eggs with the white shit inside with impossible chemical colors on the outside.

Oh my. And all their fun plastic Easter paraphenalia was manufactured in China. Maybe we wouldn't have to support the troops stationed abroad if we supported our INDUSTRIES!
I loved Easter as a kid. We were completely secular. All I know about Easter was (with 5 kids) there were a billion hidden real eggs that we had colored, and magnificent baskets of goodies. And, as the princess only girl, my dad always told me where to find the golden egg with the $5 bucks!
It was heaven!
